It's ok to lose a Champions League Final against the Real Madrid but WE are not sure Klopp was expecting to lose it this way. The 3-1 result might even sounds high considering that for a large part of the match, especially the first one, the Reds were almost dominating but step by step the Blancos started to push in and the match got a very fine balance. Maybe not as spectacular as many were expecting but very pleasant. The bad news for Liverpool came at 31' when Salah had to leave the pitch for an injury !! What a pity! It felt like with him on the pitch things could have gone much differently. The first half ended up with a fair 0-0. It all happened in the second half. After only 6 minutes it's almost UNBELIEVABLE how careless was the keeper Karius. He superficially tried to give away the ball by hands without , probably, noticing that huge guy of Benzema who was about to make some disturbing action towards him! Karius put the ball right over him making it bouncing in the goal! What a way to get in front in such a delicate match. That episode signed the keeper for the whole match. Luckily for him it's Mane who scored the equalizer only few minutes after at 60' being the faster one to get over a dangerous ball in the small box area anticipating Navas. After the 1-1 the man of the match got into the pitch: BALE. What he did last night was just 100% pure class. At 63' -so only 3 minutes after he touched the pitch- we admired a perfect cross by Marcelo impacted superbly by Bale with a over head kick which beat the powerless Karius. The Zidane's reaction was practically the same of when he saw the Cristiano Ronaldo's goal against Juventus. That's why Real Madrid keeps winning. It's not only the collective but also the extraordinary power of the single players. At 83' It's again Bale who killed  the match with a strike poorly intercepted by Karius. The goalkeeper will be tagged as the reason of the defeat for a long time. Maybe Liverpool could have found more strength reaching another equalizer with the Mane's strike at 70' but the ball finished on the post. WE guess the pressure on Karius was just too much to handle seeing all those champions getting near his goal. What a poor performance by the goalkeeper. We really wouldn't want to be in his clothes right now. Delusional was also Cristiano Ronaldo. Rumors want him far from Madrid next season. We will see!
