What can we say about a Manchester City that despite all the jokes about their "small" fan base compared to the United ones and the fact that having billionaire owners helps too much still they hit an incredible 100 points in the Premier League! Well done Guardiola who also won the best Manager of the year! It's also time to celebrate the Champions League spots probably more for the Spurs and the Reds because Mourinho was definitely hoping to get away with the title this year but there was really not much to do against their cousins this season.
Must be very disappointing the Chelsea supporters that will get as a consolation prize an Europa League spot. Not much considering they were the title holders. Antonio Conte will probably leave London soon too. Rather disappointing season for the Gunners which will have to face a new life without Arsene Wenger.... who knows how's it going to be.
Big surprise to see Burnley and Everton up in those positions while WE feel like the Foxes should have been more ambitious than the 9th place. Some teams came out of the dangerous area pretty well like Crystal Palace and Newcastle and it's good to see Huddersfield Town and Brighton still in the league. We believe that the relegated teams W.B.A. and Stoke City fully deserved to get down but somehow maybe the Swansea City could avoid this dramatic ending. The truth is that Southampton has just been stronger in the face to face match.
Huge congrats also to Mohamed Salah who was the best goalscorer of the PL with 32 goals and 10 assists in front of Harry Kane with 30 goals and 2 assists.
