1)Who are you, what do you do, where are you from and how's your life related to Subbuteo? 

I’m Daniel Lilley who plays for Manchester Table Football Club 

1)Chi sei, cosa fai, da dove vieni e com'e' la tua vita correlata al Subbuteo?

Sono Daniel Lilley e gioco per il Manchester Table Football Club

2)What's your first memory about Subbuteo ? (your first time)

Must have been when I was 7 playing with my grandad.

2)Qual e' il tuo primo ricordo Subbuteo? (La tua prima volta)

Deve essere stato quando giocavo con mio nonno all'eta' di 7 anni.

3)Do you also collect Subbuteo or you are just a player? 

I’m just a player really, I do have some collectables but I wouldn’t call myself a collector.

3)Sei anche un collezionista Subbuteo or sei solo un giocatore?

Sono solo un giocatore. Ho alcuni pezzi da collezione ma non mi definirei un collezionista.

4)What do you think about FISTF and WASPA circuits? Are you part of them?

I have played a lot of both categories really, it all depends on the event itself if it int­­­­­­erests me or not

Ho giocato spesso in entrambi ma tutto dipende nell'evento stesso, se mi interessa o meno.

Daniel means serious business! 

5)Tell us something about your Subbuteo Club! What's your favourite team?

Manchester TFC has been formed since 2010 and was a revamp on the old Subbuteo club. I would say we are certainly one of the most backed clubs in the World but have had little success.

I’m a Blackburn Rovers fan.

5)Di qualcosa riguardo al tuo Subbuteo Club! Qual e' la tua squadra preferita?

Il Manchester Table Football Club e' stato formato nel 2010 e fu una sorta di re-make del club di Subbuteo Tradizionale. Direi che siamo tra i club piu' supportati al mondo ma ha avuto solo un piccolo successo.

Sono un tifoso del Blackburn Rovers.

6)You own a popular brand in the game called SupaSlide, what does is offer?

I started SupaSlide in 2012 and it was to sell base polishwhich ended up being used by a good number of players Worldwide, we also made other accessories like the Training Walls and Custom Balls. These will be available soon.

6)Sei proprietario di un famoso brand di prodotti per Calcio da Tavolo chiamato SUPASLIDE. Cosa offre?

Ho inziato SupaSlide nel 2012 per vendere Lucido per basi finendo per essere usato da un gran numero di giocatori in tutto il mondo. Abbiamo anche creato altri accessori come Muri di Allenamento e Palloni customizzati che saranno presto disponibili.

7)Make yourself a question and give us an answer !

You started the Professional Table Soccer Association, why do you feel it didn’t work out?

It really came down to one thing SUPPORT, not in funding an organisation but simply participation. If players believed in it the Table Football World would be a much better place.

7)Fatti una domanda e dacci una risposta!

Hai lanciato l'Associazione Professionale del Calcio da Tavolo. Perche' pensi che non abbia funzionato?

Probabilmente la mancaza di supporto in termini di partecipazione. Lo scopo era di partecipare non di dare fondi ad un ente. Se i giocatori avessero creduto di piu' nel progetto il Mondo del Calcio da Tavolo sarebbe stato  un posto migliore.

8)Did you ever take part in Subbuteo Events? If YES which ones? Did you ever win any prize? If YES which ones?

I would call myself a player that could be better, when playing events, I seem to have bad luck and try more for the plate/barrage stages. I have won a few plate competitions. As a previous event organiser, I can safely say I will be concentrating on the playing game going forward.

8)Hai mai partecipato ad eventi Subbuteo? Se SI, quali? Hai mai vinto un qualsiasi premio? Se SI, quale?

Mi definirei un giocatore che potrebbe fare meglio, quando gioca ad eventi. Sono spesso sfortunato dunque preferisco giocare con la modalita' del ripescaggio in caso di sconfitta. Ho vinto alcuni di quei tornei. Essendo stato un organizzatore di eventi in passato, posso adesso affermare che mi concentrero' nel giocare di piu da adesso in poi.

9)What do you think about the Old Subbuteo? Can you compare it with the modern Table Soccer?

I don’t play old Subbuteo unfortunately, I have adapted myself to the modern bases and can’t seem to play old style.

9)Cosa pensi dell'Old Subbuteo? Puoi compararlo con il Nuovo Calcio da Tavolo (CDT)?

Non gioco all'Old Subbuteo perche' "sfortunatamente" mi sono adattato alle basi moderne e non penso di poter giocare con quelle vecchio stile.
