1)Chi Sei, cosa fai e perche' la tua vita e' correlata al Subbuteo ?
1)Who are you, Where are you from and how's your life related to Subbuteo?
I'm Giovanni, better known amongst my Subbuteo's friends as GIOGRAFICA. Born in 1979 and Subbuteo lover since 1987. My life is connected to the game because of my passion in re-creating a Stadium and all the choreography surrounding it besides the collecting side of it.
2) What's your first memory about Subbuteo ? (your first time)
Unforgettable. It was 1987 at a family's friend place. Green pitch on a table and the lovable green boxes containing 11 little men, It was love at first sight!
3)We know you are a collector and you have a fantastic Stadium. Tell us more about your collection!
I collect Subbuteo at 360 degrees. I don't have a scheme nor a goal. I have about 550 LW teams , about 50 Sets/Edition -including the very rare WOrld Of Sport-, many accessories/items and obviously MY STADIUM: it was born in 2010 (after the old one dismantlement) it hosts about 5000 spectators and it's full of details: Press Conference Room, turnstiles at the entrances, Tickets point, restaurants, Floodlights and more.
4)Hai mai partecipato ad eventi Subbuteo ? Se si quali ? ed inoltre ci puoi dare qualche dritta su dove acquistare Subbuteo in Italia e all'estero ? (se avessi degli indirizzi sarebbero graditi)
4) Did you ever take part in Subbuteo events ? If Yes which one ? also where can we buy Subbuteo Items in your city ? Addresses are much appreciated for our followers.
I was part of a Subbuteo team between 2007 and 2008. I took part in some tournaments and to an Italian Cup. An intense experience that I left. My buying channels are mostly my "virtual friends" on internet, some famous bidding websites and some word of mouth amongst lifetime friends.
5) Are you also a Subbuteo player?
I am a "solo player". A particular branch of Subbuteo passionates which keeps growing up. I play by myself, slightly changing the old Subbuteo rules adapting them for a solo player situation and that's it: Serie A, Serie B, European Cups, World Cups... I have dozen of notebooks full of "SOLO SEASON".
There are two or three fav teams: Atletico Madrid it was the first team in my hands in the far 1987. The Flamengo because it was the first team received as a gift from my father. The Aston Villa because I loved the colours combination when I was a kid.
7) Which one is the rarest team for you?
Unfortunately most of the teams that were ignored and they used to get mold on the shelves because unknown when I was a kid.... They are the rarest teams nowadays!

It takes its name from the amazing area of sea which separates the Sardinia (where I actually live) and Corsica: it is called Bocche di Bonifacio. To be precise: City Ground- Bocche di Bonifacio. I love the two supporters/spectators areas of my Stadium where I re-create choreographies and organized supporters atmospheres. I also love to take care of very small details to add inside the Stadium day by day.

Sometimes I ask myself If I could ever be able to sell everything someday ? but I immediately try to think about something else so at least for now I have the question but not the answer !!

Mi chiamo Giovanni, meglio conosciuto tra gli amici del Subbuteo come Giografica. Sono un classe '79, “appassionato” di questo gioco dal 1987. Oltre all'ambito collezionistico, la mia vita è correlata al Subbuteo per via della mia passione per la realizzazione dello stadio e tutto l'aspetto coreografico che lo circonda.

2)Qual'e' il tuo primo ricordo del Subbuteo ? (La tua prima volta)
Indimenticabile. 1987 a casa di un amico di famiglia. Panno verde montato su tavola e queste affascinanti scatoline verdi con 11 omini all'interno, fu amore a prima vista.

3)Sappiamo che sei un collezionista di Subbuteo e che hai uno stadio fantastico !! Di qualcosa sulla tua collezione!
Colleziono Subbuteo a 360°. Non ho una tematica. Non ho un obiettivo. Ho circa 550 squadre Lw, una cinquantina di Set/Edition, tra cui la ricercatissima World of Sport e diverse varianti di Set, numerosi oggetti/accessori e, ovviamente, il mio stadio: nato nel 2010 (dopo lo smantellamento di quello vecchio), oggi ospita circa 5000 spettatori ed è ricco di particolari: sala stampa, tornelli agli ingressi, biglietteria, punti ristoro, impianto d'illuminazione....

Tra il 2007 e il 2008 ho fatto parte di un team Subbuteo. Ho partecipato ad alcuni tornei e ad una Coppa Italia. Un'esperienza intensa ma che non ho continuato. I miei canali per acquistare sono gli amici “virtuali” conosciuti negli anni sul web, qualche noto sito d'aste e un po' di passaparola tra gli amici di una vita.

Sono un “soloplayer”. Un ramo “particolare” ma in continua espansione del Subbuteo. Gioco da solo, riadatto il regolamento old del Subbuteo alle esigenze di una partita in solitario e via: Serie A, Serie B, Coppe Europee, Campionati del Mondo.....ho una dozzina di agende strapiene di “soloseason”!
Ci sono partite, vi assicuro, che a distanza di anni ricordo ancora nei minimi dettagli per il coinvolgimento ed il trasporto con cui sono state giocate. Una “meravigliosa follia”.

6) Qual'e' la tua squadra preferita ?
Sono due o tre: - L'Atletico Madrid. Fu la prima tra le mie mani in quel lontano 1987. - Il Flamengo perché è stata in assoluto la prima squadra regalata da mio papà. - L'Aston Villa, per via di quell'abbinamento cromatico che da piccolo mi piaceva così tanto!

7) Qual'e' secondo te la squadra piu' rara ?
Purtroppo molte di quelle che da ragazzino erano ignorate e facevano la muffa sugli scaffali dei negozi in quanto sconosciute...oggi sono tra le più rare.

Prende il nome dal meraviglioso tratto di mare che separa la Sardegna (dove attualmente vivo) dalla Corsica: si chiama Bocche di Bonifacio. Per la precisione City Ground – Bocche di Bonifacio.
Adoro i due settori “tifoseria” del mio stadio, dove ripropongo coreografie e ambientazioni delle tifoserie organizzate, inoltre mi piace aver cura dei piccoli dettagli da inserire giorno per giorno all'interno dello stadio
