The chosen goalkeeper was Sirigu and despite the Italian press spoke not that bad about him WE think he could have done much better even if he did some great saves as well. After 8' Umtiti (fresh of contract renewal with Barcelona) was the faster player to push the ball in after a good save by Sirigu on a Mbappe shoot. Chiesa and D'Ambrosio should have done a better defensive work on that. At 20' a great shot by Kante got the post. Very ingenue the young Mandragora who totally gave away a penalty kick bringing down Hernandez in the penalty box. Griezmann brought the France on the 2-0. Balotelli was a bit egoist and Mbappe lacked of precision in the last meters even if the young PSG star was keep creating dangerous chances. At 35' surprisingly the Italy get back on track. Balotelli sent a rocket towards the keeper that couldn't handle the ball and Bonucci was ready to tap the ball in for the 2-1. In the second half Chiesa and Balotelli had the opportunity to equalize the match but at 63' a magic shot by Dembele' fixed the result on the 3-1. WE believe Sirigu should have stayed closer to the goal and not letting that shot getting over him in that way. Anyway points of views. At least Sirigu made a miracle at 85' stopping Thauvin.
