First match of the day was about to be a big question mark : Sweden Vs Republic of Korea. The Italians will probably support the Asians for obvious reasons ! WE think that Italy deserved not to get into this World Cup but they are not less than many others. Anyway after a vert combative first half the result was stuck on the 0-0 especially thanks to the Korean goalkeeper Jo Hyeon-Woo who did few great saves and a miracle over a close range shot by Berg. Really brilliant 45 minutes for the keeper. The Swedish seemed to suffer a bit the Korean high speed but they handled them fair enough. Sweden has been a bit wasteful but positive. The second half opened in a very similar way and again with another miracle of Jo Hyeon-Woo at 55'. Great VAR call at 65' and penalty given to Sweden and scored by Granqvist. Deserved lead. Incredibly the Korea had two great chances in the injury time! A header slightly wide by Hwang Hee-Chan and another chaotic situation cleared in the end. 1-0 in the end.

Very offensive but disappointing first half performed by Belgium against a hard Panama. The Belgians as often showed to the world they have a superstars teams but they are all too selfish. You can tell everyone is playing for themselves. De Bruyne, Lukaku, Hazard, Mertens, all of them had their own chances and wasted them all. Rather lucky as well Panama in few occasions but Roman Torres and Fidel Escobar did very well in their defensive positions. Not much of Panama that was only trying to do something in counter-attack but still managed to keep the 0-0 in the first 45 minutes. It was just a matter of time anyway at 46' superb goal by Dries Mertens who shot without thinking two times for the 1-0! ! 10 minutes after a set piece by De Bruyne went slightly wide but at 70' one of his cross got directly on the Lukaku's head who scored the 2-0 closing the match. The reds were all over by then but they should have scored much more. 6 minuted from there and Lukaku put in another one beating the keeper on his coming out! 3-0 at 76'! The rest is an incredible waste of time which totally fake so many bets. Teams should honour the pitch and respect the supporters which invest a lot of money in this sport. Anyway a confident seconf half secured the match for Belgium.

The last match of the day was England Vs Tunisia. The English were already on fire since the very beginning. After only 3' minutes Mouez Hassen (left the pitch at 15' for an injury substituted by Ben Mustapha) already did a great save on Lingard and few minutes after it's the same player who gave a perfect assist to Sterling who incredibly didn't score with the goal practically empty. Luckily for England the bomber Harry Kane was the faster to push in the ball at 11'! A quick 1-0 for them! Defensively looks like they have some problems and Maguire was almost giving away a goal ( he did another mistake later on) but the Tunisia didn't take advantage of his mistake. At 34' incredibly an ingenue Walker gave his elbow to Ben Youssef, VAR and penalty kick scored by Sassi for the 1-1. A chaotic action in the Tunisia area saw the defenders fortunately clearing the ball away and saving a goal on the line. At 42' it's a Maguire's header to deliver a great assist to Lingard who shot on a defender from a very convenient position. Feels like England should have scored at least 4 goals in the first half but they have been too wasteful and the opponent were looking for their luck in front finding it. Despite the attacking in the second half it all looked sterile and Sterling seemed to be a fish out of the water indeed got substituted at 68' replaced by Rashford. Tunisia completely disappeared only focusing on defending. At 78' huge human wall for a very dangerous free kick for England but badly wasted by A.Young. At 91' it was again Harry Kane to give a goal and the victory to lions! Great efforts and deserved win!
